Beginning Sunday night at 9pm and continuing for 72 hours we will be running our crowdfunding capital campaign.
Our goal is to raise $1,200,000.00 to ensure a stable financial footing for our new shul and community center.
When Chana and I moved here, we were filled with excitement and commitment to grow and guide this community. It’s been a journey of dedication, love and sacrifice in many areas and we are proud of the results. We are proud of the friendships, the learning, the growth of each and every one of us in our own personal and communal endeavors.
We have watched toddlers grow up into young proud adults and peers and contemporaries retire and slow down. We have welcomed newborns, barmitzvahs and batmitzvahs, weddings and funerals, cried and laughed, fed and entertained thousands of people throughout the years.
So while many may think it’s time to retire perhaps, or slow down maybe, Chana and I feel the complete opposite. This summer, we made a huge leap to take our community to the next level, with the purchase of our new location for our family as well as our community. With this new location our dreams can now unfold on a bigger scale with the opportunity to reach more people, have more space to host people for events and classes and provide a small heimish shul setting for services with incredible potential to even expand!
In the short three months since we have moved in, we have met so many new people already and reconnected with many we haven’t see in a long time.
Our dream cannot be made into a reality without your support and dedication. Thank you to all those of you who have partnered with us over the years and brought vibrant Jewish pride and engagement to Mill Valley.
Please consider supporting us during the campaign. It is a one-time request specifically for the building and not for our annual budget.
We are very grateful for any level of support.
Donations can be made via stocks, legacy gifts, checks or credit card. Please feel free to reach out should you have any questions.
Please note that Chabad of Mill Valley is entirely funded locally by the generosity of people like yourself for which we are so thankful for your partnership.
Wishing you and yours a good a sweet new year.
